  1. Dear Grace,

I had four classes with you (four!), and I got to see you in DC three times! I’ve been blessed with your intelligence, your friendship, and the splendid sound of your voice. When I look back on my high school years, I know that you’re always going to come to mind, because of the impact you left in every class. Whatever you do with the rest of your life, keep being an awesome person and making people think!!

    Your grateful pal, Joanna

  2. GRACE!!! First off, Congratulations, Grad! I’m so proud of your hard work! You are going to do such great things in life! Keep that Christ like joy bright and you cannot go wrong! I’m going to miss seeing you name in class next year. From religion to history I’ve enjoyed being in classes with you over the years (and have enjoyed your humor and puns)! I am SO glad we got the chance to see each other in D.C. two years in a row!

Secondly, What words do I use to describe how wonderful your friendship is to me?! I am SO blessed to know you and count you among my friends! Thank you sooo much for all the laughs, tears, smiles, and silliness. Thank you also for all the support over the years, especially in this last year. It means SOOO much to me! You are always so thoughtful and sweet. I hope when I’m grown up I can be like you 😉

Again, dear, congratulations! Good luck and many blessings as you begin college at BC this fall (YES! I will try to come and visit you! It will happen!).
    Much much love! ❤,

  8. Ah Grace, you kind, spirited, blessing of a person. I don’t have enough time on this earth to express how much you mean to me. And how much I thank God for our friendship. You have changed my life in so many beautiful ways and you have helped me see the world and life with a new set of eyes. You are a creative, talented, funny, graceful (no pun intended, much to your dismay, I’m sure ;P), kind, sweet, passionate, dear person, with a zeal for life, love, and the good of those around you. I truly admire the person you are.
I love you so much Grace; I hope and pray that even in parting ways to college, we might remain fast friends.

But you are such a wonderful person and friend. It was great being bio buds last years and meeting you in DC was O_O amazing. Please keep in touch because I need my pun and meme queen.

I bet you didn’t think those names would be resurrected any time soon, but here we are, high school graduates, and I’m feeling nostalgic. We did it, first off! We haven’t failed at life yet- there’s always college though. But you are actually gonna ace college, you are smart and beautiful and the most skilled dancer, in my unbiased opinion. I love you so much!! Unmeasurably <33 You made high school enjoyable and you are honestly the best friend I could ever ask for. I have been blessed to know you all four years of high school, since meeting in Earth Science class absolute eons ago. You're pretty much the only good thing to come of that class 😉 Thanks for dealing with me since we were bb freshies; I hope you're ready to start the cycle all over again #classof2023

Can you believe it has been four years? FOUR YEARS. We have come a long way from those very awkward facetime calls. You have been with me through thick and thin. I mean really, I cannot begin to express how grateful I am for you and the fact that we’ve have only grown closer as time has gone on is amazing. You are an incredible person. you are so passionate at what you do, especially with your friendships.
I want to talk about all the memories and get all nostalgic, but I don’t think I have enough room for all that. I want you to know that I appreciate you so much. Thank you for everything you’ve done for me. God has an incredible plan for you and I cannot wait to see what it is. I will be here through it all, don’t you worry. (I already called dibs on front row seats 😉 ) I LOVE YOU SO MUCH. and like, as I write this, its so comforting knowing that you are only a text or phone call away and that even though we are going to college, it won’t be that bad because we’ve done 4 years of long distance friendship and we are masters at it. college aint got nothing on us. LOVE YOU LOTS.

you my dear, are an inspiration. like, seriously, how smart you are, how funny you are, how kind you are, how sweet you are, how loyal you are, are fiercely defensive and loving you are. I have been so blessed to have known you throughout my time in online classes and to have been touched by your friendliness. your friendship is one that has definitely made me a better person and in which I have taken much comfort. Your constant support and sound (if at times difficult thought perfectly what I needed to hear) advice, has made me a much better person. I can’t even dream to say adequately all that you mean to me or have done for me, I’m sure its more than even I realize, but from the bottom of my heart, thank you. God bless you!

  31. Hello, fellow youth! I am definitely one of your classmates and not an old person at all. See, I can use young person slang like “kool kat” and “spice master” because I too am a young person.

And as your classmate, I am so proud of you for what you’ve learned so far and so excited to see what you learn in the years ahead. Be proud of what you’ve been able to accomplish in your eighteen years with the grace of God. So many good things, so many blessings. And guess what? There is so much more to come! So much more!

Things won’t always be easy but, as you know, the best blessings usually come through the hardest sufferings. Isn’t that cool? Joseph and his technicolored dream coat think so! Jesus thinks so! All the saints think so! So, be excited about the peaks and valleys to come. Both are so, so good.

I love ya, dude. I’m happy to know you. And I’m psyched to keep being your friend as we both continue forward in life together.

I would insert a bunch of good Lord of the Rings puns, but all the good ones Aragon.
Until we meet again, Master Punner. Go back to your dancing, and your existential crises about college. Paint your trees, watch them grow. If more people valued puns above gold, this world would be a merrier place.

You made it. These have been some of the toughest years of your life, but you did it. Of course we all knew you could. Your endless strength, resilience, and perseverance made sure you would. I hope the next chapter of your life reveals to you the beauty, strength, and individuality that the rest of us can see so clearly. Your light has always been a beacon of hope and warmth to me, even when your own life was dark and shadowy.

Life is going to be hard. There is no pretending otherwise. But I know you will keep getting up even when you fall because you’ve fallen hard and gotten hurt. Things that you thought you knew were challenged. Even about yourself. But you’re still standing. You got back up time and time again. You’ll continue to do so because you never give up. Remember that you’re at your strongest when you feel weakest. You don’t know your own strength until it’s tested. STAY STRONG MY PEACOCK.

Ahh man, Grace, so much to say! Congrats on graduating! I know you are going to thrive in college, so there isn’t much need for me to say “good luck”. Thank you for being exactly who you are, Grace. I know this sounds cliché and all, but I don’t know where I’d be without our friendship. You were always willing to listen to me, even when it was unimportant 8th or 9th grade drama. (okay, 10th too hah) No matter what was going on on your end, you always made time to talk, and to listen and care. And that’s a huge thing, because a lot of people overlook that. You’ve always inspired me Grace, taught me how to treat friendships, how to nurture them, and how to keep pushing through, even if things aren’t as perfect as one hopes for. You’ve grown a ton in the past years, and I am lookeying forward to seeing where life takes you. I love you, Grace! ❤
