Dear Patrick,
We’ve been places together – Mrs. Haggard’s Gov and Econ class, Mr. Berquist’s Doctrine class, and of course, Mr. Mazza’s Latin class. In each and every class, I was super excited to have you as a classmate! You’re hilarious, energetic, articulate, and a blast to have around!
Your fellow scholar, Joanna
P.S. We still have to have that wall sit contest some day!

Hey Pat, this is your past self. When you read this when you first get your hands on this book or years from now when you pull this out when you’re cleaning your closet out, just remember your classmates, teachers, and friends who are part of this all. And your family and friends outside of MODG. Don’t forget to pray for them. And life I’m sure has gotten tougher but I’m sure you found a way to power through it all. And if you don’t think you can just see how far you’ve come since this very day, 6/4/2019.I’m holding my fist out at this very moment, so put yours out and just imagine us bumping fists like the champions we are! Don’t forget to blow it up after we bump it, k? Anyways, stay strong, stand up straight, keep hydrated, and be the best version of yourself as humanly possible. I’m praying for you man. Win it, Pat. Win it.

PAAAAAATRICKK. I miss you every second since your last math class 😥 Thank you for always being there to talk about literally everything and anything. From my (many) boy problems, to fitness, to math killing us. You’re an incredible friend and I’m so happy to have had you in class. Never ever stop working as hard as you do.
Much much love,

Hi oaty. I love you, like really, I love you. Idk how much I love the constant workout snaps, but I’ll tolerate them as long as I get to call you oatmeal. I’ll miss you in Doctrine class, and how you CONSTANTLY 🙂 called me out if I wasn’t involved enough in class. If you ever need to talk, hit me up. I might make a few inappropriate jokes, but otherwise, im ya gal.
See you around,
caro

It was such a pleasure to meet you in California!! Thank you for taking the time to talk and make a new friend! You’re a top notch guy, and although I know it’s a shame we didn’t meet one another before graduation, I do know that God has incredible things in store for you throughout the rest of your life. Thanks again for taking the time to make a new friend among all the craziness!
God bless you, friend!

Oatrick,
There are so many things I could talk about here. First of all, thank you from the bottom of my heart for eating off of a chair with me back in history class. We may have disrupted the world order, but it was darn fun. Secondly, I forgive you for liking oatmeal better than grits. I love and accept you for who you are. Lastly, you were an important part of the funnest class I ever took, Medieval History, and I have to thank you for the fantastic times and extended debate team meetings. I’ll see you in Heaven, yeah?
Love,

Okay, true story here: We never had class together, but we were in NHS together for 2 years, so that was 2 years of me watching some guy named Patrick Rankin make hilarious comments and talk to tons of people in the chat box the whole time. So it really was a little funny when I walk up to graduation and the first person I meet is…Patrick Rankin…
Outward me: “Hi Patrick, nice to meet you, I’m Landis”
Inner me: OH MY GOSH THIS IS THAT REALLY COOL POPULAR KID FROM THE NHS WOW WOW WOW
Anyway XD you did not disappoint- you seem to be a really cool person! I loved talking to you and wish we could have talked more! But it was great meeting you and graduating with you. Congratulations, and God bless you in whatever is next for you 😀

Congratulations on graduating, Patrick! You always brought a touch (okay, a LOT more than a touch) of hilarity and enthusiasm to Mrs. Meyers’ Chemistry this year 🙂 It was so fun having you as a classmate, and may God be with you throughout your post-high-school adventure!

Congratulations on graduating, Patrick!
It’s been a great time having you in history classes with Mrs. Haggard over the years and chemistry class with Mrs. Meyer this year. LS classes wouldn’t have been the same without you.
I will always remember the fun times we had in debates. Never forget that Richard III was innocent, and Harold was the rightful king of England. 😛
I’m so glad I got to meet you in person at the graduation. You have a wonderful personality and are so fun to talk to. I hope you will have a blast in College. Don’t be the “errant Patrick” though. 😉
I wish you the best of luck! May God bless all your endeavors.
