  1. I literally could never have survived high school without you, David. I’m just gonna start with thy because it’s one of the truest things ever to have come from my mouth. I love you to the moon and back, and someday we’re going to be reunited, the halves of a whole, crazy, and beautiful person. Thanks for the smiles, the laughter, the memories, and the best friendship ever. ❤

  2. Hey, David!
It’s been awesome chatting over proboards and stuff, even though I don’t know you as well as I wish I did. But it’s been fun, and I believe I can trust you with my precious Audra, so keep her safe because you mean the world to her. Congrats on graduating, and good luck in future!

  3. Congratulations my friend. You are one heck of a person. Thank you for everything you’ve done for me. Thank you for counting me among those worthy of being your friend. I love you so flipping much I can’t even express it. God has amazing things in store for you and your life, David. And I know that through everything that happens, good or bad, you will come out the other side just as strong and God-filled as you are now, if not even more so that before. God bless you my friend.

    With Love and Respect,

  4. Sir Hilger,

Congratulations on graduating high school, the long and hectic journey is over, and yet another one of adulthood arises, but I know you’ll be amazing at it! It was great saving ladies in distress on the RAAC with you. Someday, we shall joust one another. Also dude, I LOVE each and everyone of your posts on Proboards, you have a very humorous way or phrasing things that brings out the laughs in everyone. Best of luck and many blessings to you on your journey after high school! 😀

Here’s a knightly verse: “Finally, Brethren, be strengthened in the Lord, and in the might of his power. Put you on the armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the deceits of the devil.” -Ephesians 6:10-11

    God bless you,
    Sir Montone

  5. Hey Bud, I may or may not have waited to sign your page until last cuz I knew I couldn’t do it without getting emotional. Also, if I was going to say all the stuff I want to say on here, you’d need an entire extra year book shipped to you because I have so many words and no matter how many words I say it’s never enough to actually explain myself. But, you’re probably getting used to that. Anyways. Thanks for being who you are. Thanks for never giving up on me. Thanks for always being there for me. Thanks for everything. Because you are my best friend in the whole wide world and I don’t know where I’d be without you. You. Are. The. Literal. Best. I don’t deserve a person like you in my life but lookie there, God likes to give gifts, and you are such a gift and a blessing. Not just to me, but to every single person you encounter. I am seeing that more and more. I’m here for you, and I’m cheering for you! (always)
Love you more than coffee and chocolate!

  6. *doesn’t know where to begin* Wow David, honestly, I really don’t know how to start this. You were one of my very first MODG friends and even though we’ve always talked on and off, you have always been such an amazing friend. Since day 1. Whether you were kicking me off the RAAC for not calling you evil enough to be my evil uncle, to asking me about my celebrity crush when I was totally tired and whack (and then insulting his smile….), you have been such a great friend. Never forget how amazing a person you are, and how much your friends and family love you.

  7. Oh my heavens where do I begin…(the beginning would be appropriate) CONGRATULATIONS ON GRADUATING!!!!!! Just think, WE DID IT. We survived, we made it to the end, and we have graduated. Somehow. 🙂 You have been such a wonderful friend, and I’m so blessed to graduate with such a Godly and great young man. You’ve always been there, from late night math lessons to in depth debates to just plain ridiculousness. All of it has greatly helped me through the year: you have helped me, by your friendship, as well as by your incredible example. I know God has fantastic things for your future, and I cannot wait to see what comes next. God bless you!!!

  10. Congratulations on your graduation from MODG, David! It was wonderful to know you on ProBoards. Continue to be awesome for Our Lady! She will never fail you if you ask for her aid! I still treasure the Mary Rosary holder on my nightstand that you sent for Secret Santa a few years ago. Thank you for that. You will continue to be in my prayers every time I look at her!

May God bless you and keep you always,

you sir, are pretty darn amazing. It has been such a blessing to have gotten to know you over the years and to have been able to randomly call you to just catch up. You have some wicked skills and are, from what little I have been privileged to see, a natural leader. your tenacity and hard head will definitely get you places in life… that is, where it doesn’t get you into trouble :P. 17. Heyyyyy!

You’re graduating, what will MODG be like without our official cowboy??? xD Kidding, we all will miss you. Thanks for helping me out with debating, and those random Philosophy chat convos that will always be remembered 🙂 I know that you don’t have everything figured out, but hey, no one does. Just keep being you.

“God is saying to you today, you’re going to be telling a different story very soon. A story of hose miracles have found you. A success story filled with so much inspiration. You will give so much hope to so many people when they see how much you overcome and still came out on top.” -?

  23. David,

I’m here to argue with you.

Nah, maybe later. Right now we’re doing the appreciation thing. 😛

Thank you for always being there for anyone who needed an ear, noticing when I took my self-deprecating jokes too far, and subsequently taking it upon yourself to inform me I was not as grotesque as I thought, insist on being my friend (friends are myths, but I guess that makes you a myth, too), and offer elbillugs which I bought hook, line, and sinker. If I didn’t look up unfamiliar words, I would be convinced to this day that there were birds of that name dwelling happily in South Africa.

Thank you for your hilarious and inevitable debates with Maria, and for your almost-as-inevitable debates with me. And thank you for all the enthusiasm and effort you put into the Philosophi!

Congratulations on graduating, and may God guard you as you step into the next chapter of your life.
